American Public Transportation Association’s 2024 annual conference was hosted at Portland’s Oregon Convention Center by TriMet. The activities included Bus Rodeo, panels, breakout sessions, Q&A’s, and a trade show. TriMet Leaders such as Sam Desue, Jr., JC Vannatta, Andrew Wilson, John Gardner etc were present.

Continue readingI love that we have many new Portland event spaces lately! One of the more unique and lovely wedding and event venues is Redd on Salmon Street! According to the The Redd on Salmon website: “Spreading across two blocks in Portland’s historic Central Eastside, the Redd is an Ecotrust development designed to support local food enterprises, connect chefs, foodservice directors and entrepreneurs to independent farmers, ranchers and fishermen in the region, and help scale a robust food economy across the Pacific Northwest. It was at the super fun Oaks Amusement Park in Sellwood, which is a cool amusement park with roller coasters, bumper cars and just about everything else fun! There was even a Sumo wrestling showdown between the staff! It was awesome! I love photographing Portland corporate parties where the staff gets to get crazy!
