Last year a group of like minded photographers started Wedding Photo Guild – “an affiliated group of independent Oregon photographers dedicated to the idea that wedding photography does not have to be cliche or predictable.”

The brain child of this group is Craig Strong, a very respected photographer in Portland who is also the inventor of Lens Babies.

The group consists of a large percentage of (in my humble opinion) Oregon’s best wedding photographers. We get together sometimes and most recent meeting was today at my house. It was really fun and as always lots of great ideas were exchanged. I love these guys, and it is great to chat with like minded photographers that share common goals and have mutual respect for each other.
