David and Dharmini booked us when I was overseas for an assignment. I had a chance to meet them only couple days before their wedding, but instantly we realized we had so much in common! We are both foodies and wine lovers! Their wedding was a reflection of their calm but classy personalities. There were lots of kids playing around as well which added a positive and fun energy. It was not a big wedding, nor one of those dancing until midnight ones. In fact, when it hit 10pm, we all picked up a beer and went to watch the fireworks from the rodeo.
I love Oregon wine country weddings. They can be natural and elegant at the same time. Wine Country Farms is one of my favorite places to shoot with it’s laid back-ness. I was also looking forward to working with Red Hills Market as they are a favorite restaurant stop on my way from wine tasting. They didn’t disappoint. The guests were also very lucky – the wedding desert were Moonstruck Chocolate Truffles. Yumm! Of course I ordered some when I got back home!
