Stephanie and James were married at Saint Thomas More Catholic Church with a beautiful reception at Waverley Country Club in Portland, Oregon. The couple met about five years ago through friends in Portland, though it wasn’t until a year later that James first asked Stephanie out on a date. The two have been inseparable since.

Stephanie wore a romantic gown from Charlotte’s Weddings, accessorized with a gold- and pink-toned belt, earrings and bridal comb designed by her mother and a vintage ring gifted to her by her grandmother. The flowers were designed by florist Suzanne Schick and the bridal party’s make-up was done by Nicole Wagner of Powder Inc. Transportation was provided by Twilite Limo and Tour Co. The bride herself crafted many of the decorations throughout the reception and they looked amazing at the elegant Waverley Country Club.

Following the ceremony at Saint Thomas More, guests returned to the Waverley for a cocktail hour on the grounds and a dinner catered by the country club. In the evening, the couple cut their three-tier cake from Papa Haydn’s before joining guests on the dance floor to the sounds of Design Band. At the end of the night, Stephanie says she and James looked around to take in all of their friends and family singing and celebrating around them. “It will be a memory I will never forget,” she said. “Having all of your favorite, most adored friends and family in one room to celebrate with you is almost magical.”
