Kelsey and Lee were married at the beautiful Skamania Lodge along the Columbia River Gorge in Washington.
The bride wore a romantic ballgown with a beaded bodice from Bridal Exclusives in Tigard, Oregon. Flowers were arranged by Artistic Flowers and makeup was done by Leslie Woods at Individual Creations.
Through a light mist of rain and with dramatic clouds rolling through the Columbia River Gorge in the background, Kelsey walked down the aisle with her father. Before the start of the ceremony, a smudging ceremony was performed to purify the space with a cleansing smoke bath, in honor of the groom’s Native American heritage. Don Sampson also performed a traditional Native American song and prayer prior to the exchanging of vows.
Afterwards, the newlyweds and their guests dined on food catered by Skamania Lodge. Kelsey and Lee shared their first dance as a married couple, and then a father-daughter and mother-son dance with their parents. After cutting the cake from Helen Bernhard Bakery, guests joined the couple and bridal party on the dance floor to music from Stumptown DJs.
