I just got back from shooting Renee and Savio’s wedding at Madonna Inn, San Luis Obispo. It was a very fun event. This is the first of the two photographer’s wedding I am shooting this year. Renee is an accomplished photographer at Fresno Bee and Savio is a pilot. They were a very nice couple, with great family.
The day of the wedding it rained quite a bit in the morning but then it turned into a gorgeous day. We were able to go to the beach (Pismo Beach) and got some great shots.
These are some first look images:

The second last image, the vertical flare shot, is a killer shot.
You know me, I don’t follow the traditional or “what’s in vogue now” school of photography, in fact I loathe the current “let’s break the rules and shoot flare” trend often touted by people who never took the time to learn any photography rules.
Anyway, I wish I’d shot this one, it’s the first example of a great flare shot that I’ve seen for a long time.
Anyway, glad it stopped raining for you..
Best
George
Amen. Evrim I am so excited by the few images you have here I can hardly keep focused at work right now. It is clearly obvious why you are winning awards. Thanks for all your work on our big day.
