Leanne and Aaron had a very classy and elegant wedding at Portland Art Museum, one of my favorite Portland wedding venues! Vibrant Table did the catering and event design, and they outdid themselves in both! The Fields Sunken Ballroom was turned in to a beautiful set up with ghost chairs and mood lighting. The chuppah was amazing with flowers from Vibrant Flowers. I always love working with Molli from Soiree Event Planning and she did a wonderful job of making sure everything ran perfectly and all the vendors were coordinated, and the bride and groom were not stressed out. Thanks Molli!
Jewish weddings have lots of traditions, and I love photographing such emotional events. The seven blessings Sheva B’rachot for example, and breaking of the glass. Leanne walked down the aisle with a gorgeous Casablanca Couture gown and beautiful, long veil. The lighting cast a beautiful pattern on her while she walked down. Rabbi Daniel Isaak is wonderful to listen to (I actually had the honor of photographing his daughter’s wedding couple years ago!). Duo Con Brio trio set the mood with their music.
The team at Vibrant Table flipped the room very quickly after the ceremony and I was amazed what they have accomplished. You will be very impressed as well. Beautiful warm colors, and bride and groom’s name was projected to the dance screen. Leanne and Aaron walked in to the ballroom under applause and the traditional horah dance to Hava Nagila started. Tons of fun!
The toasts were very touching and Leanne and Aaron had a beautiful first wedding dance!
