Maranda and George’s Wedding at Kruger’s Farm

This was a beautiful wedding at Kruger’s Farm at Sauvie Island with lots of little touch. Maranda and George were very easy to work with – I used to play soccer with George and he is as tough a midfielder as it gets but off the field, he is a very easy going guy. We had some great weather as well! I knew it would be really bright with contrasty lighting, so I used a lot of flash techniques usually used in outdoors fashion shots. You can see some of them below. Great colors, great details, lots of fun!

  1. Some of the best wedding photos I’ve ever seen. Love the B&W fisheye of Maranda and George next to the big tree. Other favorites are the pig and the wedding cake lit by the setting sun. Thanks!

  2. The pictures truely captured the spirit of the wedding. What a memorable day and delightful photos to remember it by! Every time I see the photos I am left with the same feelings I had that day!

  3. The pictures are as beautiful as the weding day. Each time I look at them I see something I mised in the rush of events. Viewing the pictures brings a smile to my heart!

  4. We’ve enjoyed all the pictures and this was an interesting collage of the highlights. It was a beautiful day, captured with artistry! My favorite is the first one–very unusual.

  5. The first picture in black/white is captivating–it creates a spell. Capturing Mt. Hood as scenic background anoints the ceremony. Maranda projects her personality, strong and engaging.

  6. These are beautiful! I love the composition and the use of light. I also like how the personality and liveliness of the event is living in the photos…very natural, pure and artistic all at the same time. Thanks for sharing…
