Madisen and Joshua were married on a sunny day at OakView Acres in Canby, Oregon. Madisen’s bridesmaids helped her with her beautiful gown from Bridal Exclusives before she headed to a first look with her father. The bride and groom also shared a private first look at the top of the aisle, with a stunning view of Mount Hood in the background.
The groomsmen accessorized with individualized superhero tie bars and pins on their dress shirts – all to match the superhero shirts they wore under their formal clothes. Flowers were provided by Buddies Flowers and the bride’s hair was done by Tara May at New Vintage Beauty.
The wedding was officiated by Tim Osborn, and friends of the couple performed at the ceremony. Additional music for the ceremony and the reception was provided by James Aldrich.
Following the ceremony, guests played lawn games and enjoyed the reception’s photo booth before dining on barbecue cooked on site by McKillips BBQ. Towards the end of the hot afternoon, guests cooled off with ice-cream sandwiches from Ruby Jewel Ice Cream. In lieu of cutting a cake, the newlyweds shared bites of the sweet sandwiches with each other. So cute!
As the sun set over Mount Hood, Maddy and Josh had their first dance as husband and wife. Friends and family then joined the couple on the dance floor for a money dance, with guests taking their turn to dance with the bride or groom while pinning bills to their clothes. The festivities continued into the night, including a conga line led by the bride’s father.
