We had such an incredible time photographing Beata and Ryan’s beautiful summer Portland wedding at Hotel Eastlund, a new wedding venue in Northeast Portland. The reception was held in their Cosmopolitan Grand Ballroom, a luxurious space with magnificent, sweeping views of downtown Portland. Everything was so perfectly organized and ran smoothly thanks to wedding planner Jenn Reyes of Awe Productions. The day was chock-full of so many important, meaningful proceedings and could not have been as successful as it was without Jenn’s excellent work. Beata and Ryan are such a stunning couple! Their love is so true and unique, you just can’t look away. We could not stop photographing them! Thank you to the wonderful hair and make-up work from superbly talented (and highly sought after) Kristen Arnett! She was exceptional to work with and made sure to follow us around all day for touch-ups! Beata also had one of the most beautiful bouquets we have ever seen, compromised of peonies and roses. Huge thanks to Josef Reiter, owner of Botanica Floral Design, for creating such a unique and vibrant bouquet!
The ceremony was held at St. Stanislaus Polish Church, a beautiful catholic church in North Portland. It was an intimate, touching ceremony. Beata has two beautiful daughters, Abbie and Natalie, who were so happy to be a part of their mother’s big day. After so many years of shooting weddings, it is still so impactful to see the genuine happiness shared between a mother and her daughters. The two sisters even got on stage and sang a song with Ryan and the band! It was an unforgettable moment. We also cannot neglect to mention the food and desserts, which were especially delightful. Thank you so much to Altabira City Tavern for providing such exquisite dishes. One of the evening’s highlights was listening to the groom rock out with his cover band, Off The Record! What a treat. The group was a huge hit and quickly got everyone up on their feet dancing the night away. Thanks to all the vendors and incredible staff at Hotel Eastlund. It was a wedding for the books!
