The Elysian Ballroom is the new name of the Crown Ballroom – same location, different owners and completely different look. I was sad that Crown Ballroom was closed as I loved working with Ravel and Julian (the previous owners) so I was excited to hear that highly respected Mr. Mike Piper took over the location, and sure enough, did a tremendous job!

Darcy and Joil were referred to me by a good photographer friend of mine. I was immediately warmed up to their warm personality and knew that it would be a really fun time. And it surely was. We had a great time working together. Raven, who was one of  the previous owners still helped with coordinating and she is a delight to work with. The getting ready was at the Hotel Vintage Plaza, a favorite location to shoot for me as well!

One of my favorite details was the desert table – I like that approach a lot as a good alternative to having a large cake! So many great ones from Pix Patisserie!
