I had the pleasure of attending a beautiful pre-Bastille day event at the Brasserie Montmartre. Did you know that Portland is home to the West Coast’s largest Bastille Day celebration, welcoming over 8,000 people? This year, in 2012, the event will take on a two-day format, with Bastille en ville (Bastille in the City) on Saturday, July 14, from noon to 6:00 p.m. at Director Park and Bastille au vignoble (Bastille at the Vineyard at WillaKenzie Estate) on Sunday, July 15.
Here are some pictures from Portland Bastille Day pre-event. If you are looking for a wonderful, elegant and classy wedding or event venue, take a good look at Brasserie Montmartre. It is abeautiful multi-use space with Old World charms, and the staff is very friendly! The participating sponsors and vendors were: Brasserie Montmartre, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Van Duzer Vineyards, St.Germain, Allium Bistro, Cana’s Feast Winery, Stoller Vineyards, Saint Honore Bakery, WillaKenzie Estate, Domaine Chandon, Ristorante Fratelli, Nuvrei Patisserie, French American International School, and Eric John Kaiser (French Troubadour). There were some amazing wine, great music by Eric John Kaiser and some awesome pastries.
