We had the most fun time at Amanda and Justin’s wedding at the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai at the Big Island. The weather was amazing. Amazing light, gorgeous sunset, beautiful double rainbow. The previous day was the rehearsal at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and I had the chance to get to know most of the people. What a fun group. We had a very organized schedule thanks to Allison from Bliss in Bloom, and she was wonderful at keeping things running on time- Thanks Allison! Amanda looked amazing in her Vera Wang dress. I love when couples give us enough time to do great portraits – after 16 years of doing weddings, I am really good at making the most of time, sometimes even as little as 5 minutes, but when we have a great schedule where we can play around, it is even better. We got gorgeous portraits in many places, and had wonderful wedding portraits. Right after the ceremony, there was a double rainbow that came out and of course we played around with that. The Hawaii sunset was amazing as well – a cute sea turtle came to the beach to keep us company and enjoy the sunset (we kept our distance). Thanks to all the wonderful vendors and the staff at Four Seasons at the Big Island! It was a pleasure to work with Magic Strings, Hawaii Tasty Tone Productions, and Judith K. Artistry for doing a wonderful job.
